Miriam is the Executive Director for One Hope Tulsa where she’s helped develop and direct an after school and summer tutoring program, an annual conference, and an urban ministry internship for college-aged students over the past decade. She has a BA in English and Bible and has completed the Christian Counseling Education Foundation’s Advanced Biblical Counseling program. She received an M.Litt from the University of St. Andrews in practical theology and is an alumnus of Lead North Class 8 and a recent Mine Fellow. Her training along with her experiences in her neighborhood and as an adoptive mom have made her passionate about the intersection of trauma, theology, and resilience. Miriam and her husband Nate live three blocks from the Rose Bowl with their awesome kids- Zion, Selah, and Magdalene.
