
H.O.P.E. Leaders is a community leadership development program for high school students who live or go to school in Northeast Tulsa.
H.O.P.E. Leaders will volunteer in kids and youth programming at the Rose Bowl or community service; have opportunities to give back to those who are homeless; make connections with peers, One Hope staff and community leaders; receive leadership development and job skill training; learn peacemaking peer mediation strategies; participate in discussions of faith, prayer, and personal values; go on a fall/ spring break leadership development trips and college visits; be eligible for gift card prizes and a cash stipend; and more.
H.O.P.E. Leaders participating in the school internship for credit are expected to arrive at the Rose Bowl by 1:00 PM Monday - Thursday for the afternoon program. For the afternoon internship, there is the opportunity to commit to staying til 5:15 PM each day for a cash stipend.
For the morning internship, the commitment is 8:45 AM - 12:30 PM, M, W, TH, and F.
Transportation home (within a 2-mile radius of the Rose Bowl) will be offered as needed.
Requirements:
*School Year H.O.P.E. Leaders in good standing will be given preference for a paid H.O.P.E. Leader position in the summer.*
